Real Estate 360 Property Advisory is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest and most diversified real estate companies providing a range of services including commercial and residential property management, sales and leasing, development, and property management. They are currently looking for a General Manager to direct and manage their Nova Scotia Commercial and Residential Division. This position involves overseeing the allocation of divisional budget resources, formulating policies in conjunction with the senior team, coordinating business development, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring high level of customer service, hiring and training employees in the Nova Scotia Commercial and Residential Division.
In this role, you will maintain excellent relationships with Commercial and Residential Property Owners and Tenants through various communication channels. You will be establishing programs for operations, maintenance, and capital improvements of buildings and equipment within your Division and once approved, carry out these capital plans. Financially, you will ensure that expenses are well-controlled within budget and that all financial statements and budgets are prepared in a timely manner for review with Property Owners.
You will attend regular client and corporate meetings and work closely with department staff in the development of goals, objectives, and policies. You will make certain that all documentation, such as leases, plans, financial data, and other administrative files, are properly maintained and up to date. You will seek value added services and work with the Senior Management team in sourcing of business development opportunities for clients and Real Estate 360.
As the ideal candidate, you have at least five years’ senior-level experience in the commercial and residential real estate industry. You have an in-depth knowledge of the provincial leasing and tenancy laws as well as all occupational health and safety regulations.
Personally, you are a diplomatic communicator with well-developed skills in client service, conflict resolution, and dealing with people. You exhibit a high level of professionalism and have the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with co-workers, clients and external partners. Your organization, time management and project management skills are such that you meet deadlines with ease and accuracy.
